Winter Storytelling with Joseph Marshall III

February 27, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm CST

Event Navigation

Join us for an evening of Storytelling with renowned Lakota storyteller, Joseph M. Marshall III. Marshall is a historian, teacher, craftsman, and award winning author of numerous non-fiction books based on Lakota oral history and culture.

Space is limited to 30 total participants for this intimate workshop; registration is $35/person for non-Native folx.

Lower Phalen Creek Project recognizes that the lands, languages, and cultures of American Indian Peoples have been under relentless attack through the policies and practices of Euro-American leadership for more than 200 years, and as a result, much has been lost. As part of our commitment to providing programming that promotes cultural healing, half of the seats for this program will be reserved for American Indian participants for whom the registration fee will be waived. Though the fee will be waived, registration is still required.

To register online (non-Native people): https://bit.ly/36ixkZb

To register as an American Indian participant, please email Mishaila Bowman at [email protected]
