Event Navigation

Sunday, December 28th, 1-3pm

Join the artists of the “Being Hmong” exhibit in a conversation about the complexities and tensions of “being Hmong” in the United States. Who decides who is Hmong? Who decides what it means to be Hmong? What roles do racism and the power structure of the dominant society play? What are the tensions between and across generations within the Hmong-American community? How can art generate a productive conversation?
