Wynfred Russell, Program Operations Manager at the American Refugee Committee, spent much of 2014 and the first half of 2015 in Liberia, the country of his birth. A long-time resident of Minnesota, Wynfred drew on his training and experience in public health and higher education, and his experiences in municipal politics in Brooklyn Park, in his work during the Ebola crisis. He has also continued to organize support for public health projects and to educate Minnesotans about what we all have at stake in this crisis halfway across the world.
