Stories of Immigration on St. Paul’s East Side

September 22, 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm CDT

Event Navigation

Sunday, September 22, 2019, 4:00-5:00pm

An outdoor, immersive performance experience using theater, dance, movement, and original music to explore the continuing histories of immigration to St. Paul’s Swede Hollow neighborhood.

In conjunction with the performance of “Swede Hollow Ghost Sonata,” members of the creative team will be joined by community members who will share personal, historical, and contemporary stories of immigration to St. Paul’s East Side.  Following the conversation, attendees can explore shops and restaurants in the area before making their way to that evening’s 6pm performance in Swede Hollow. We hope that audience members will contribute to the richness of the discussion.
