This round table discussion will explore the role of the activist/scholar in anti-racist and anti-colonial participatory action research and ethnography. Participants will speak from their own experiences about the possibilities, limitations, and challenges of white academics doing accomplice/solidarity work from within academia and other institutions. Audience members are invited to share their own experiences and ideas, both as activist/scholars and as community organizers.
