The pandemic has revealed the gross inequities in access to healthy resources and access to health care. These inequities have deep roots in the history of institutional racism in America. What can we learn from history — hundreds of years and the past two and a half years — in order to make a better future for all of us? How can an exploration of racism and health care inform our conversations about reparations and the making of a more just America?
