There will be a series of public information meetings in the next few weeks in order to inform the public about the upcoming implementation of body cameras for Deputies in Ramsey County.  Input from the public will be gathered and questions about policy for the body cameras will be responded to.

The Sheriff’s Office will be sharing details about how the new body camera process will be implemented and how it will work once implemented.  An overview on the technology to be used, the vendor selected, the method selected for data storage and the timetable for implementation will be shared.  An overview of the ways that Minnesota Data Practice legislation governs data storage and information sharing will be a featured topic.

Public input and questions will be the bulk of the evening’s program.
