Every August, we bring people to our front lawn for an evening of food, music, games, and community-building. Come meet staff people from the neighborhood and friends from around the city as well as dedicated neighborhood organizations. We build community and solidarity. Celebrate culture and your community! EVERYONE IS WELCOME NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE!

The Open mic is open to anyone who wants to participate. You can share a poem, song, short story, or anything creative that expresses your truth. The stage is yours! Please be mindful of the time so we can give everyone a chance to be heard, and keep in mind this is a family event!

Free and open to everyone for the cause of solidarity!
