Join East Side Freedom Library and the History Theatre for a production of “neighbors: a play for young audiences”

Neighbors tells the story of four children who live in the same neighborhood and decide to put on a playground pageant about their elders and the journeys taken for them to now live in St. Paul, MN. Through narrative, poetry, and song, the play focuses on immigration and how their collective community has formed as well as similarities and differences in the children’s varied backgrounds. It asks what makes a place more than just a place someone resides; what makes it a home?
