Maryland Avenue Lane Reduction (Community Meeting)
May 3, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm CDT
Event Navigation
Ramsey County is planning to do a test “road diet” on Maryland Avenue between Greenbrier St and Johnson Pkwy this summer. A “road diet,” also called a lane reduction or road “rechannelization,” is a technique in transportation planning whereby the number of travel lanes and/or effective width of the road is reduced in order to achieve systemic improvements.
This is a great opportunity for neighbors to bring their concerns and ideas and help to shape the city’s planning process. Come share your thoughts about Maryland Avenue and the proposed “road diet”. Please put this date on your calendar.
This event is sponsored by the Ramsey County Commissioners.
NOTE: The image used in this event page is not the actual proposed change to the street. It is just an example of a “road diet” proposal.
