Do we have to stay stuck in a loop with increasing rents and stagnant wages? The East Side Freedom Library will host a community conversation with activists and advocates working on alternative housing models. We’ll spend time hearing about cooperative housing, tenant opportunity to purchase act (TOPA), land trust models and public banks before getting into breakout groups to discuss what we think.
