The 1619 project

Wednesday, June 15, 2022

1 PM – 2:30 PM CT

Online event

As part of the Roseville History Book Club, Peter Rachleff from the East Side Freedom Library will lead this month’s discussion of the very popular book, The 1619 Project; a New Origin Story, by Nikole Hannah-Jones. This book offers a brilliant reframing of American history around slavery and African-American achievement from an African-American perspective.

You can register online here for the discussion or sign up by calling the Library at 651-724-6001 (Press 2 to speak to a Librarian.)

This event is co-sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of the University of Minnesota with the financial support of the Friends of the Ramsey County Libraries.
