March 15–Five Smooth Stones; a novel by Ann Fairbairn

The Roseville History Book Club meets monthly with a representative of the East Side Freedom Library, for discussions on a wide variety of topics from American history. Enrollment limited to insure an intimate discussion experience. Extra copies of the book available at the Library.

This month, join Peter Rachleff, Director Emeritus of ESFL, for a discussion of  a classic novel Five Smooth Stones by Ann Fairbairn.  Written in 1966, this was one of the first novels to deal with the subject of interracial love, set against the background of the Civil Right Movement.
