Design and print a book about your family history using a photocopier, paper, scissors, thread, linoleum blocks and ink. Books from the East Side Freedom Library will be on hand for inspiration, images and information about immigrant history in St. Paul. This workshop is led by Aaron Johnson-Ortiz, East Side Freedom Library’s Artist-in-Residence.

Bring family photographs to photocopy and include. Participants in the workshop can choose for their books to be included on the Floating Library, which will be available on Lake Phalen on July 16 & 17, 23 & 24, 30 & 31, and August 6 & 7 from 1 – 7pm.
