Families Supporting Families Against Police Violence

January 22, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm CST

Event Navigation

Wednesday, January 22, 2020, 6:30pm
When our loved ones are taken away from us at the hands of Police there is little to NO support for the families (unlike other crimes committed in the community.) There is No financial support to help bury our love ones. There is No mental or emotional support to get families through the grieving process.
Families Supporting Families Against Police Violence is a new support group designed to specifically support family members and friends who have lost someone at the hands of law Enforcement or have been brutalized in ANY way by the police and survived.
Please come and share your words, your grief and your words of encouragement to encourage one another and overall uplift each other. This is a Safe and confidential space for the families to simply talk and be there for one another. I hope to see you there. #Healing has to start somewhere.
