We have too many books! (Can anyone ever have too many books?) There is a remedy. The East Side Freedom Library Labor Working Group is organizing our very first book drive!

We want to share the love that everyone has shared with us. And if you love what we’re about, you’ll love this sale!

Almost all of our collection of 35,000+ books have been donated. As you might guess, there is a lot of overlap in the collections you have at your own homes and that means we have a lot of duplicate copies of some great titles. We are often able to share with other great organizations and efforts, but we also want to share the love with YOU. So, in conjunction with our annual Labor Day Solidarity Picnic, we are having our first book sale.

From our shelves to yours, one title at a time–or maybe a bag full of titles at a time. Either way, come and browse! And stay for some food!
