TriLingua Cinema in collaboration with East Side Freedom Library presents a free screening of Columbian director Ciro Guerra’s exquisitely beautiful, Oscar nominated film, Embrace of the Serpent.

Exploring the relationship between Karamakate, an Amazonian shaman and last survivor of his people, and two scientists who work together over the course of forty years to search the Amazon for a sacred healing plant, Embrace of the Serpent takes viewers on a hypnotic, at times psychedelic journey through space and time.
