Join Us at the Annual East Side Roller Party – Celebrating Community!”

We are excited to announce the upcoming Annual East Side Roller Party, organized in collaboration with East Side Freedom Library, Family Values for Life, and Saint Paul Parks and Recreation’s Phalen Recreation Center. We want to extend an invitation for you to join us.

Date: August 9th, 2024, 5:00-8:00

Location: Phalen Recreation Center: 1000 E Wheelock Pkwy, St Paul, MN 55106

We are inviting local businesses, organizations, and individuals to participate by registering to table with resources or sell at the event. The evening will feature roller skating, art, games, and a variety of community resources and fun. Free roller skates and helmets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage community participants to pre-register to help us estimate the needed skate sizes. We invite community partners and tablers to join us by offering activities or sharing community resources at their tables, promoting your work and services, and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the event. We kindly request a suggested donation of:

– $50.00 or $100.00 for for-profit vendors, entrepreneurs, and businesses

– $25.00 for non-profit organizations or community partners

– Pay What You Can option for those who may need it

These donations will support our efforts to provide free meal options and rental skates and sustain future community events on the East Side.

Please plan to bring your own table, tent, and chairs if needed; a limited number will be available at the rec center.

While donations for participation as a table or vendor are appreciated, they are not required. Your support will help us cover the costs associated with the event and continue hosting community events like this on the East Side.
