The East Side Freedom Library invites you to a special afterschool performance on our beautiful front lawn
Join theater artists Lindsey Samples, Rhiannon Fiskradatz, and Atim Opoka for a performance that they developed here at the East Side Freedom Library. Earth Whispers is a play made for the very young (ages 0-5, but older siblings and parents are welcome, too!) about connecting to nature. Developed alongside little kids’ play and imagination, together we’ll listen to rocks, embody the wind, dance like the rain, and sit in reverence of the trees. Kids get a chance to be part of the performance in this full sensory exploration.
We invite you to look at these short videos to get more of an idea of what is in store:
“How Does the Wind Say Hello?”
“How Does the Rain Dance?”
“What Stories Do Old Trees Tell?”
