Connecting Communication, aka Nonviolent Communication, is a practical model for moving from blame and judgment to connection with others and within yourself. It can help you to find empathy and courage as you express yourself one-to-one, in relationships, and in our communities, in ways that let people really hear you.
Bea Vue-Benson is an ordained minister, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Circle keeper, and NVC practitioner. She intentionally seeks to integrate the principles and skills of Nonviolent Communication into her therapy practice, community work, and personal life. Bea is committed to the work of supporting healing and reconciliation, creating peace, inviting cooperation, cultivating tolerance, and fostering respect for all individuals and communities.
Pam Winthrop Lauer is a spiritual director and a teacher and coach of Nonviolent Communication. She also volunteers as an interfaith leader. Pam’s teaching style is dynamic, effective, and gentle. She is a candidate to become a certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication (cnvc.org). Her spiritual direction certification is through the Lev Shomea Jewish Spiritual Direction Training Program of 2001-2003.
