Anne Winkler-Morey, Metropolitan State University scholar-activist, collected stories during a 14 month bicycle trip around the perimeter of the United States. In 2011-2012, she pedaled more than 12,000 miles interviewing people in diverse communities across the county. She is now writing a book about what she learned.
