Event Navigation

The East Side Freedom Library, The Ed Factory, and the Young People’s Archive invite you to:

STEP INTO THE ARCHIVE

Wednesday, March 28th, 6-7:30pm

An interactive demo facilitated by the Young People’s Archive.
We dare to ask questions. We are brave enough to listen. We place ourselves inside other people’s words. We listen across difference. We are connected. We are YPA . . . coming soon to East Side Freedom Library.

“The Young People’s Archive is a youth-led and produced digital archive project of the Ed Factory. Using audioethnography and emerging media, YPA documents young people’s experiences as they wrestle with the tangled complexities of self, other, difference, and the crisis of connection. The project provides workshops for young people, teachers, and community-based organizations, and facilitates project-based learning in classrooms. Our curriculum, co-facilitated by YPA’s Slick Interns from our Service Learning Collective, fosters mindfulness and compassion, develops social bonds, and enables young people to be intellectual workers dedicated to self, other, and world.”
