Event Navigation

Hosted by: Friends of the Earth and the East Side Freedom Library

Official event registration: www.foe.org/MSP-RSVP

Trump is proposing an unprecedented 31 percent budget cut to the Environmental Protection Agency and has been working to unravel decades of hard-fought victories for people and the planet. That’s why Friends of the Earth is working with our grassroots partners and activists across the country to hold workshops to help build the power we need to stop Trump’s attacks on people and the environment.

The main objectives for this workshop are:
–Provide a space for activists to connect and develop strategies for how to protect our environment and stand up to Trump.
–Share skills and training for effective community organizing
–Connect the dots between environmental and social justice

During the Activist Workshop and Training you’ll learn valuable grassroots organizing and leadership skills, from how to create a campaign to influencing decision makers, and connect with other area activists in the Twin Cities.

Lunch will be provided (registration required)!

Register by Dec. 10 at www.foe.org/MSP-RSVP
