TURNING POINTS TOWARD PEACE AND JUSTICE WORKSHOP
Saturday, September 22, 2018, 1:00 to 4:00 PM

Our main goal is to use our writing and storytelling as a tool to promote a more peaceful world beginning in the places we live. In our book, we feature the inspiring stories of people who have discovered a major turning point in their lives over the last half-century that led them to a passion for writing and working for peace and social justice. Our presentation would include readings by authors of the Turning Points book, peace and justice music, a dynamic slideshow and audience members telling their turning point stories. By sharing these stories we hope to inspire current and coming generations to discover their own turning points that will lead them to help make the Twin Cities a nonviolent community.
