The East Side Freedom Library invites you to

Rhythmic Literature’s Poetry Evening and Open Mic
Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, 4:30-7:00pm

The East Side Freedom Library is excited to begin a relationship with a group of young Ethiopian art lovers and art makerswho came together three years ago as “Rhythmic Literature.” They have been promoting art that is responsible, thought provoking, engaging, and entertaining. They began by promoting others’ art, but now, in collaboration with the East Side Freedom Library, they will be presenting their own work. This will be the first event in a series to convene on the first Saturday of every other month. So January will be next!

Members of Rhythmic Literature will present work in different genres and styles. There will also be a painter who will share some of his work and will create new work during the event. And a keyboardist will provide live music. And there will be an Open Mic for anyone moved to share their talent.
