Presenters include:

Paul Nelson, author of Frederick McGhee: A Life on the Color Line, 1861-1912, on “African Americans and the Struggle for Civil Rights in the Early 20th Century”

Retired carpenter John Sielaff, who participated in the research for Who Built Our State Capitol and has published articles in both Minnesota History and Ramsey County History, will discuss “Immigrant Workers and the Building of the State Capitol”

Saint Cloud State University History Professor Mary Wingerd, author of Claiming the City: Politics, Faith, and the Power of Place in Saint Paul and North Country: The Making of Minnesota, will discuss “How Irish Was Saint Paul?”
