Event Navigation

The East Side Freedom Library and the Minnesota Historical Society invite you to a special celebration of Women’s History Month:

Objectivity: ’68 to Today

Women’s Activism: Delores Huerta

Saturday, March 24, 1:00 – 3:00pm
ESFL and MNHS invite you to an innovative program which includes a play created by MNHS’ Teen Action Group and the examination of historical objects from MNHS’ collections, curated by their staff. Focused on Dolores Huerta as an unsung shero in the fight for equality, this program will enable us to explore intersections between the women’s movement and race, Latinx communities in Minnesota and the national context, and labor rights and civil rights. Join us for this opportunity to think in complex ways about the on-going conversation between the past and the present.
1105 Greenbrier Street
Saint Paul, MN 55106
Free and open to all.
