How Dare We Write

Presenting How Dare We Write, 2nd Edition

Please join the East Side Freedom Library for a reading from the second edition of How Dare we Write: a multicultural creative writing discourse, edited by Sherry Quan Lee. This reading will feature Sherry with a host of other authors both to showcase Black and brown writers that Cherise Pollard characterizes as “intellectually rigorous lyric essays and innovative writing exercises; this collection of essays that provides a fresh pedagogical for the craft of creative literature” while also providing a fresh, much needed creative writing pedagogy. Sherry Quan Lee gathers these BIPOC writers in this important collection and again here at ESFL for us to join in person or virtually.

This event is free and open to the public either at the East Side Freedom Library (limited seating and COVID protocols in place) or via Zoom.
