The East Side raised me. Now I get to give back.
I’m honored to be joining the East Side Freedom Library as their Housing Justice Organizer. As a Black and Native Two-Spirit artist, organizer, and former foster youth, I bring both lived experience with housing instability and years of experience organizing, advocating, and shaping housing policy alongside our unhoused neighbors and communities across Minnesota.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota, where I focused on American Indian Studies, and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Social Justice and Human Rights at Arizona State University. I’m excited to bring these experiences together to collaborate in building an East Side where everyone has access to affordable housing, economic opportunity, and a place to belong. I’m proud to be an Eastsider and can’t wait to see you in community!
