As part of our ongoing series, “The Labor Movement and Social Movements,” we invite you to a panel discussion which includes Senator John Marty, Minnesota Nurses Association Executive Director, Rose Roach, Lisa Weed, Executive Vice-President of SEIU Healthcare Minnesota, and Dr. Michael Westerhaus, internist, professor at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and co-director of SocMed, a social justice non-profit which focuses on the social determinants of health. Please participate in our conversations exploring the relationships between the labor movements and other movements for progressive political, economic, and social reform.
