Story Circle: Connection
November 17 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The East Side Freedom Library invites you to a story circle
Twin Cities Arts Frontier Outpost
Saturday, November 17, 3-5 p.m.
Connection . Connection. Connection
Come join our story circle where we will explore the idea of connection through personal stories. How are you connected to the land, to the place where you live or work? How are you connected to the people in your life and/or the stranger that you meet? When is a stranger no longer a stranger? What random acts of kindness have touched your hearts?
Connection. We all want connection. We seek connection in different ways. The Twin Cities Arts Frontier Outpost seeks to make connections through storytelling, art-making, and engaging with people to build stronger relationships, to build community. We were all once strangers somewhere, once upon a time. How do we bridge the gap to make strangers welcome in our heart, homes, lives, neighborhoods?
Connections. Come make connections with us. Come build community with us through the act of telling stories.
The Twin Cities Arts Frontier Outpost is part of the US Department of Arts and Culture– a people-powered department–a grassroots action network inciting creativity and social imagination to shape a culture of empathy, equity and belonging. The USDAC is not a government agency.
