The East Side Freedom Library is proud to co-sponsor a solidarity march on January 14, called “Love Hope Rise,” as part of our monthly “Solidarity Saturday” activities.

As we anticipate the new presidential administration, please join us in standing for the following positive values:

JUSTICE. DIGNITY. EQUALITY. FREEDOM. STEWARDSHIP. PEACE.

…and the basic principle of treating others as you want to be treated.

We especially welcome families with children as well as first-time demonstrators. This is an opportunity for different generations of activists and members across our community to connect, learn, and rise up in solidarity.

This event includes an indoor pre-march program, that will allow us to meet and engage various groups and causes. We will have activities for making signs based on the positive values listed above. Prior to marching, we will gather to celebrate our solidarity via words and music.
