This new documentary (2015), part of a four part series about American labor history, begins with the deepening of the industrial revolution in the third quarter of the 19th century, and explores workers’ efforts to organize unions in the face of ferocious repression from employers, private security officers, and the government.

Co-sponsored by AFSCME Local 3800 and the St. Paul Regional Labor Federation.
