We welcome Chad Montrie, Professor of History, University of Massachusetts-Lowell. Professor Montrie is working on a book, Whiteness in Plain View, about the history of racial exclusion in northern towns and suburbs during the twentieth century. He has investigated long-established patterns of housing discrimination in places which have been in the news, like Ferguson and Cleveland, and he is currently doing research on several Minnesota communities.

Come to this presentation connecting Past and Present.
