The East Side Freedom Library and the Lower Phalen Creek Project invite you to a

Cultural Healing Video and Discussion
Thursday, December 13th, 2018, 5:30-7:00pm

The indigenous people to this land have experienced undoubtedly some of the largest amounts of historical and intergenerational trauma, but through their resilience, they are demonstrating their need and want for cultural healing.

Join Lower Phalen Creek project at the East Side Freedom Library for an event that will showcase a 5-6 minute video on cultural healing. The video, produced by John Kaul, will explore the need for cultural healing and what forms it takes not only for the indigenous people of this area, but other ostracized communities like Hmong, Cambodian, African American, and Somali.

After the video is presented there will be a discussion and panel of speakers. This event is free to attend, but capacity is limited – register here to reserve your spot.
