The East Side Freedom Library invites you to learn about a new film in the making

Compassion on the Battlefield in WWII
Thursday, November 8, 7PM

Stephanie Manesis is producing/directing a WWII Documentary with a working title of “Compassion on the Battlefield in WWII.” It will explore compassion on the battlefield between enemies. It will also be about self-compassion after the war for things that happened on the battlefield. Given how much warfare there is raging in the world, this is a timely subject.

In addition to screening a short excerpt from the film, Ms. Manesis will share first-hand stories from WWII veterans that she’s filmed. She has an MBA and an MA in French Studies from NYU and this is her first film that she is producing and directing. She also teaches languages and speaks professionally about mental wellness issues. She lives in Fargo, ND.
