In Celebration of Black History Month the East Side Freedom Library Invites You To The Fifth Film In Our Black History Month Series

This month, the East Side Freedom Library has partnered with Metro State University, Saint Paul Public Libraries, and several high schools in The Big Read, a program to get Saint Paulites to read and discuss the same book–Zora Neale Hurston’s Their Eyes Were Watching God. For our final film of the month, we will view and discuss the 2005 made-for-tv adaptationis by Suzan-Lori Parks and it stars Halle Berry.
