“An Outrage”: A Black History Month Film Screening/Discussion

Tuesday, February 20 @ 7PM

Join us for a screening of the new, award-winning documentary An Outrage in commemoration of Black History Month.

An award-winning documentary film about lynching in the American South. Filmed on-location at lynching sites in six states and bolstered by the memories and perspectives of descendants, community activists, and scholars, this unusual historical documentary seeks to educate even as it serves as a hub for action to remember and reflect upon a long-hidden past. Read more here: https://www.kanopystreaming.com/product/outrage-0

The post-film discussion will be lead by Dr. Yohuru Williams, Dean of Liberal Arts at the University of St.Thomas, along with the filmmakers who will be present.
