Guenveur SmithWell-known for his film roles, especially in projects with Spike Lee, Mr. Smith is the premiere practitioner of live solo performance in the country. He has won numerous awards for “Inside the Creole Mafia,” “A Huey P. Newton Story,” “The Watts Towers Project,” “Iceland,” and “Who Killed Bob Marley?” During the first two weeks in October, Roger is performing his “Rodney King” piece at Penumbra Theatre. We urge you to see it. At the end of the run, Roger will engage our audience at the East Side Freedom Library in an open conversation. Don’t miss this!
